Our Mission
The Lake Texoma Association (LTA) exists to promote, protect, and preserve Lake Texoma and the surrounding region. Our mission spans both Oklahoma and Texas, working to boost tourism, support local businesses, and safeguard the natural beauty and economic vitality of the area.
We focus on:
🌟 Promoting the Texoma region through marketing campaigns that increase tourism and highlight the unique experiences Lake Texoma has to offer.
🎣 Developing new attractions and outdoor activities that encourage nature-based recreation, events, and family fun.
🗣 Providing a forum for problem-solving, collaboration, and community growth across the entire lake area.
🏛 Serving as a legislative watchdog, advocating for the Lake Texoma region on both state and federal levels to protect the interests of our members and economy.
